Why does this website look so shitty?

• I don’t care about making it look nice; it’s the same content either way
• It’s easily readable and requires little effort on my part to create and maintain
  • The only dependency is pandoc, which I already know how to use and care about having set up
• It’s static
  • It’s easy on your browser
  • It’s easy on my server
• Look at some professor’s pages. If they don’t think it’s worth making “Web 2.0” sites then why should I?
